[Raph just nods, then lets him go.]

So where is everybody anyways? Off in the war?

Sick? [He doesn't know the guy, but that just makes him damn angry.] That's bullshit. Seriously?

[Isamu nods.]

Stress... I think. He didn' have a choice when they came. But... he has friends there.

Then where'd Naoki head off to?

I dunno. Mountains or something, most likely.

[Isamu just nods, then leans forward so his forehead is against the turtle's arm.]

Guess we'll wait for you to sober up a little.

[He nods against the arm, then reaches forward to grip it.]

[Raph doesn't even bat an eye. He does this kind of cuddling with his brothers all the time, and in his mind, Isamu's about as close to a brother as any human's ever been.]

You'll be all right, okay? Whatever's eatin' at you, we'll work through it.

[He sighs.]

But you can't be drinkin' like this if we're gonna hang out. I can't be around the stuff anymore.

[He nods again. That doesn't require much thought.]

Yeah.

Okay.

[He falls silent again, distractedly wringing his hands. Is there something more he needs to say? He guesses he should ask for more detail about why Isamu's acting like this, but Raph figures he doesn't really care. That's his business and if he wants to talk about it, he can.]

[Isamu mutters a curse. Walking's not something he's sure he can do.]

[Raph gets up and motions for Isamu to stand too.]

C'mon, dumbass. I'm only gonna do this once. Then you owe me.

[Isamu lets out a very short whimper as he finds himself with no one to lean on.

It takes him a moment to prepare to stand, and when he does the whole room spins about sickeningly. His legs are shaky and he nearly falls right over.]

[Raph grabs his arms before he can fall, then turns around and maneuvers enough to sling his friend over his back. He won't let go of his arms. He definitely won't trust Isamu to hang on. But at least he's a hell of a lot lighter than carrying a brother.

Unfortunately for Isamu, it's probably not very comfortable at all. Definitely not the ride he bargained for.]
