[This is a terrible idea, and he knows it. Still, Isamu can't stand to be cooped up in his apartment any longer. First chance he got (aided by heightened senses) he snuck out past Naoki and went for a walk through town.

The teen is currently wearing a couple layers of clothing, with basically everything covered - sunglasses, gloves, a scarf over the bottom part of his face... There are earplugs in his ears, but the outside world still seems too noisy, and despite the sunglasses his eyes are watering a little.

He'll be sticking to the edge of the road, in shadier areas, and avoiding the woods.]

Dammit. This is ridiculous.

Oh, I'll claim that for now. You guys can fight over it later.

[He can't help but laugh a little at this.]

You're too kind, Sir Isamu. But are you sure that's really a title you want?

I can add it to the many titles I'm sure I already possess. It would be one of the nicer ones.

[He shifts, settling back and leaning a little against Naoki.]

... you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

[Hypocritical? Oh yes.]

Naoki wouldn't trust you so much if it were.

Naoki trusts too easily.

That may be, but I have yet to see him trust anyone who didn't deserve that trust.

Maybe. [Isamu just stares into his glass for a moment.]

[It's around now there's a groggy sound from Naoki. Vaguely annoyed. One of his eyes open and, slurred from drowsiness:]

He's right...idiot.

[Richard responds with a soft chuckle and an affectionate hand on Naoki's shoulder.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up as well, Naoki.

Now you're both gonna gang up on me.

Yeah, well. You're the bigger idiot.

[Naoki shakes his head at the apology and smiles.]

S'okay.

[Then brings his hand down on Isamu's head.] And so what if I am? I'm not saying silly stuff, at least.

Why don't we compromise and say that both of you can be foolish at times? That much is certainly true.

Hmph. [He'll just be finishing off his water now, thanks.]

[Naoki thinks you're silly, Isamu, so have a one-armed hug. He covers up a yawn with his other hand.]

[And Richard will just be leaning to rest his head on Naoki's shoulder now, since Naoki isn't the only one who is tired here.]

You should both get to bed. [Said the pot to the kettle.]

So should you... [Another yawn from Naoki.] But the couch's comfy.

Then the couch it is for now.

[Isamu doesn't argue, setting his glass aside so that he can lean on Naoki's other shoulder again.]

[Naoki leans his head back against the couch and closes his eyes, content. Swallowing one more yawn, he shifts his arms just slightly, absently tousling the hair at the back of Isamu's head with one hand, the other coming to rest on Richard's back.]

[Richard fumbles around for the blanket with one hand so that he can pull it over himself and nestles even closer against Naoki, his eyes slowly starting to drift shut as well.

... yeah, this is definitely preferable to a bed.]
