[A heavily drugged figure is stumbling out of the woods near the grocery store. He doesn't get far before slumping against the side of the building and sliding down into a sprawl. Everything is spinning, even after he's stationary.

He closes his eyes, rubbing at them with one hand.] Son of a bitch...

[Once Isamu has returned to his apartment, the following message will be left over the journal.]

S'okay, guys. I live.

[ooc: So yes. I'm back from hiatus! ...I also have some issues with breaking continuity, so once one person has found him, everyone else should only respond via the journal. Naoki, however, has rights to join the action thread at any time if he doesn't find him first. Sorry for being kinda lame like that.]

[They'd screwed with his senses? Or was it an after-effect of the drugs? He blinks.] Me? What do you mean?

You're all... strange.

[And as he tries to focus on this, his eyes go yellow again and stay that way.]

[Naoki stares at his eyes, quiet for a few moments as he thinks.]

'Strange'?

Yeah... I...

...I'm going to go to my room now.

[He tries standing again, moves hurriedly away from his seat, makes it about six uneven steps before toppling.]

[Naoki moves to go after him, winces when he topples and reaches a hand down to help him up.]

Idiot...

Don't! [Isamu pulls away from his friend's outstretched hand.]

D-Don't touch me...

[Naoki freezes, hand still lifted toward him. Slowly draws it back a bit.]

Isamu...?

[He's on his knees, and he clutches his head in his hands.]

Make it stop...

...I'm sorry...I don't know how.

Ha...

[He curls in on himself, trying to drown everything out with no success.]

[Naoki shifts slightly, hesitates in reaching for him again.]

Come on...into your room.

[Isamu starts to pull away again at first, then stops and allows Naoki to help him. He'd be crawling back otherwise.]

[Without a word, Naoki goes about helping him to his feet, then toward his room.]

[Isamu covers his eyes with one hand... which really isn't very conducive to walking.]

...You smell... oddly clean.

[Well, that's something Naoki wasn't expecting to hear. Blink. Also trying to carefully guide him into his room.]

Thank you?

...But you're too bright. And you burn on the inside.

[He pauses at that. Whatever sense Isamu is using, it's not one Naoki thinks he shares much of.]

I'll...I won't stick around you all the time, okay? You can just call me when you need me.

[That leaves Isamu rather conflicted, as he doesn't want anyone around him, but at the same time doesn't want to be alone. He just tightens his grip on Naoki for a moment and says nothing.]

[That earns a bit of rapid blinking as Naoki guides him into his room. He's not sure what to do, himself, with that gesture.]

[Isamu sits down on the edge of the bed and clutches his head again.]

Th-thanks...

Can I get you anything...?

No...

I'll just... try to sleep or something.

Okay...if you need anything, I'll just be in the living room.

[He nods, laying down on the bed so his back is to the door.]

[Naoki gives him one last look before slipping quietly out of the room. Once out in the living room, he cracks open his journal, voice a low mutter.]

Sanji?
