[It's sometime after he's gotten back from the usual friday morning session at the dojo, and it's pouring down rain outside. Therefore, the logical place for Isamu to be is indoors, maybe reading a book. This, however, is not the case.

After leaving a note for Naoki, Isamu has headed back outside in just a button-up shirt and pants. In the woods not too far from his apartment building, he's currently standing uncovered in the rain. If someone was to watch him, they might catch him occasionally throwing his arms up in the air with a "HA!"... only to have nothing happen.

Though looking discouraged, the teen will continue this for the next while.]

[Naoki raises an eyebrow, flicks his gaze to the ceiling briefly and then looks down. Starting up that writing again, the notebook balanced on his knee.]

[Isamu returns shortly in the dry clothing, pauses at the end of the sofa, then steps closer and slumps down next to Naoki, looking beat.]

It's a precaution. [He pauses in his writing, finishes off a sentence.] But pretty much.

[He looks over and he feels vaguely tempted to ask what he's been up to. But he doesn't.] Didja go and get sick on me?

[Quirking up an eyebrow--what'd he need a storm for? Then Naoki gives him an innocent look.]

It's just a typical cold, I think. Nothing too bad. My own fault and all that.

[Naoki shrugs casually, shutting the notebook in his lap.]

Still, best to get these things early on, so it doesn't get any worse. Just in case, you know.

[He gets a grin for that, one just about back to the norm.] And lemme know if you want me to pick up anything.

Man, you're unreal, you know that. [He'll probably find something to send him out for, too.]

I would, huh? [He smirks and gives Naoki's shoulder a pat.] I'll think about it.

[Then he stands back up - well, halfway, falling back into the seat again. He manages it on his second try.] ...Think I'm gonna hit the hay.

[Naoki rolls his eyes good-naturedly at him, smiling, and re-opening the notebook in his lap. He'll be keeping an eye on him to make sure he gets to his room alright first, though.]

Sure. Have a good sleep, then.

[He makes it to his room fine, crashing the moment he gets there and not even bothering to change again or pull any blankets over himself. He just kinda falls on the bed and stays there.

He'll have a bit of a fever tomorrow, a stuffy nose and a light cough, but he'll sleep most of the day away anyway.]

[Tch, Isamu... Naoki wanders in after him, pulling down some blankets to cover him. It's important to keep warm, you know. Muttered to himself as he returns to his notebook--]

Idiots aren't supposed to catch colds. [And he'll deal with that come tomorrow. Probably sticking around the whole day.]
