[There's the sound of someone fumbling with their journal before it hits the floor with a loud thud. It falls open, and one might get a view of Isamu's leg hanging off the edge of the bed before he mutters a curse and retrieves it with a shaking hand.

He doesn't seem to realize it's picking anything up as he sets it down across from him. The teen himself is sitting upright in his bed, eyes occasionally darting to either side. He's still dressed in his gi from training this morning, and he's turning his ring around in one hand - the one with the demon design. He seems particularly jumpy.]

[Naoki pauses, looking over at him. Then, he grins.] I'm not changing anytime soon.

Am I really that different, for you?

[He shrugs, sitting back down at the table again.] Well, kinda. I mean, whatever had to happen for you to side with me over not siding with anyone at all...

Just have to have a different thought process, is all. Though really... returning things to the way they were is probably the right way to go.
