[When he was fairly sure the sky was clear of falling trees, Isamu had made his way outside toward the edge of town. It was late, but of the things the teen feared, creatures that went bump in the night weren't part of them. He didn't tell anyone he was leaving. He just went.
Sometime later, he can be found dozing against a light post just at the town's edge. It probably isn't the safest place to be, but he's too tired to bother walking back to the apartment complex just yet. His journal is with him, but it's closed shut.
