[He sighs, finally standing up.] Alright. I won't be too long.

I'll be waiting, but don't feel the need to rush just because of me.

[He would, and they know it. He smirks as he walks away.]

[Richard knows quite well that Isamu isn't anywhere near as selfish as he tries to pretend.]

You came all this way because of me; the least I can do is let you enjoy yourself for a little while.

[He sheds his shirt on the way, tossing it back in Richard's direction.]

[... and now Richard has a new hat courtesy of that shirt landing right on his head. WOW ISAMU, he doesn't want your dirty laundry. 8|

But fine, he'll set it on the couch, then lean his own head on the cushions to close his eyes for a few minutes while he waits.]

[A little while later, Isamu will poke his head out of the bathroom door.]

I've got it!

[Isamu's voice startles Richard out of the doze that he's slipped into and he raises his head off the couch, blinking curiously.]

... 'got it'?

Yes. The solution to everything.

[He steps out, towel around his waist, looking for something to wear.]

We need to find you a man... that can turn into a woman.

[Richard averts his eyes, the slightest hint of pink to his cheeks as he tries to process this logic.]

I assume you mean as a way to keep up proper appearances in public back in our world?

[He's not quite sure whether to laugh or ask if Isamu is coming down with something.]

As much as I appeciate the thought, I don't think that's going to work.

[Isamu sighs.]

Yeah, I figured.

[Richard reaches for Isamu's discarded shirt to nudge it over in his friend's direction, then settles back down against the couch, knees drawn up to his chest and his chin resting on them. While the crying did make him feel somewhat better, he still just feels tired and overwhelmed by everything.]

I'm stealing a blanket.

[And Isamu will indeed flop back down next to Richard, completely wrapped up in one.]

You won't hear any complaints from me.

[When Isamu sits down, Richard almost gives in to the instinct to lean the way he usually would, but freezes halfway, suddenly uncertain. Would that make Isamu uncomfortable after that little revelation from earlier?]

Good. I'm the only one allowed to complain for a while.

[Isamu will take that decision from him, leaning against the blond himself.]

Mmm.

[Richard remains stiff for a moment before finally relaxing and leaning his head against Isamu's in turn. He's... not really sure what their relationship is, but he knows that it's more precious to him than almost anything else here in Luceti.]

[There's a soft noise that sounds almost like a laugh as he scoots closer for warmth.]

There's far more to being a knight than just that. One of the most important duties of a Royal Knight is to support the king whenever it may be needed, not just on the battlefield.

[He smiles a little.]
