Friday - backdated

[Isamu is having a distinct feeling of deja-vu. This isn't the first time he's been dropped off after a kidnapping not far from home, drugged enough to make the trek difficult but still conscious enough to attempt it.

Once at the door, he stops to lean his forehead against it, hoping some of the dizziness will wear off. It's some time before he finally decides to just knock. If he falls inside when the door opens, then so be it.]

Saturday

[Wanting to clear his head some, Isamu attempts to work at Seventh Heaven as usual. Bouts of drowsiness keep creeping up on him, however, and he's continuously nodding off while leaning against a counter or slumped at a table. Forget having him actually carry food out to a table. Not unless you want to lose half of it on the way there, anyway.

Frustrated, he'll spend the latter part of his shift slouching in a booth.]

Sunday

[It's hard, but he manages (he thinks) to slip away from Richard for a while, heading down to the battle dome in order to vent. This wouldn't be a bad plan in theory if he could actually get any of the programs to work. Should anyone walk in on him at this point, they'll find him pounding his fist into one of the consoles. He's not even doing any damage to it, so it's mostly just to make himself feel better (which it's also failing at).]

((ooc: Isamu's mallynap effect is that he won't be able to do most things on his own for a while. He will be increasingly grouchy because of this.))

[Honestly, he really does deserve something for all his effort.]

But you're getting paid with the smiles and satisfaction of all the guys you serve. Without you, they would all go hungry waiting for that one waiter dude to come out and save them from their stomachs eating themselves! ... Or something.

Or they could just get another waiter. Or go to the grocers and get their food themselves.

They might only wanna come here to be served by you! They can't just go to the grocery and grab whatever, how are they gonna see Isamu, awesome waiter extraordinaire, over there?

I sincerely doubt anyone comes here just to see me.

You don't know, someone might! They might be all 'oh gosh, I hope that guy with the hat serves me today' or 'I really wanna see what hat that waiter dude has on right now'.

Well noooo, not exactly. [By which she means 'not at all'.] But it could totally happen! You might have some fans walking around and not even know it, give yourself some credit or something.

If I have fans walking around, they should really show themselves. It would give my ego that little unnecessary boost.

[Pascal nods, then carries on talking as though Isamu's response didn't even register with her.]

Wouldn't it be kinda creepy if there really were fans walking around? I mean you would totally be able to hear them coming, with the whirring and all, but it would still be pretty scary!

[Isamu can only stare at her for a couple moments after she's said this, blinking dully.]

...You know, I think I should get back to work.

Y'okaaay, if you're really sure about that. [Way to not let those fans down dude.]

If you feel like you could really go for a snooze then go for it. Don't push yourself and go kersplat carrying a huge tray or fancy food or whatever!
