[There's the sound of someone fumbling with their journal before it hits the floor with a loud thud. It falls open, and one might get a view of Isamu's leg hanging off the edge of the bed before he mutters a curse and retrieves it with a shaking hand.

He doesn't seem to realize it's picking anything up as he sets it down across from him. The teen himself is sitting upright in his bed, eyes occasionally darting to either side. He's still dressed in his gi from training this morning, and he's turning his ring around in one hand - the one with the demon design. He seems particularly jumpy.]

Yeah. [He glances over.] The demons were really strong there. I only went as far as I did because I didn't know, at first, what I was really there for.

Those candelabra...it turned out I was gathering them so they could make me into a demon. A real demon, to fight on their side.
