I'm going to assume I missed everything in my solitude somehow, because there's little chance that nothing happened. You see, I would have to be worried if nothing happened because that would mean that they might want to make up for it later and no one wants that.

Therefore, I want to know everything terrible that happened to you guys while I was blissfully ignorant. Come on, regale me.

...Which is a good thing, probably. From how it's been described, it doesn't sound pleasant.

[Varrick has no idea why there's so much talk about Valentine's Day. He doesn't particularly care, either. When he spots this entry, what he sees is an opportunity to complain.]

You wanna talk terrible? I'll give you terrible! I spent five days with a swollen tongue and an itchy rash on my cheeks! There's something in the food around here I'm allergic to, but the only way to find out what it was is to try eating all that stuff again until I get a reaction! How's that for terrible?

On the plus side, you're now aware of allergies you didn't know of before.

No, now I'm aware of allergies that I still don't know of! I've narrowed it down to a list of twenty ingredients that might've been what did it. [...] You wouldn't happen to have any bad experiences with mongongo nuts, would you?

I don't even know what a mongongo nut is.

I'd start with some of the foods that people are more commonly allergic to. Peanuts, maybe. Coconut. Carrots? I knew a guy that could drink milk but couldn't eat cheese.

I eat peanuts and carrots all the time! It's this otherworldly stuff that's doing me in! How am I supposed to know what people are commonly allergic to if I don't even know what half this stuff is? [And yet he's eating it anyway.]

It was most problematic because I was trying to do the wall, not the floor.

Oh, I was testing a flammable gel. It didn't stick as well as I had hoped.

What? No, why would I make weapons? I was just seeing if it was possible to construct a gel like this that could be used in any level of gravity. Everyone needs to eat, you know.

[Unsurprisingly, Richard has been sticking to the house for the past week or so and only leaving it for his shifts at Seventh Heaven. The annual paranoia seems to have set in full force, and he's just as antsy as he's been in previous years, even more so now that Valentine's has passed and nothing has happened.

It's been wearing on him in both his sleeping and eating habits, meaning that the Richard who plops down onto the couch next to Isamu and leans over against him is a very tired one. Tired but still very much himself, at least.]

Isamu can certainly spare time in between his trolling to lift an arm up and pat his friend on the back of the head. He isn't going to shove him off any time soon.]

[With a little sigh, Richard just leans into that patting, his body relaxing slightly as he does so. It's nice that he doesn't even have to explain what's bothering him; Isamu just knows. And he also knows not to bother him when Richard really isn't feeling up to company, something that obviously isn't the case right now.]

As well as can be hoped, I suppose. I'll be happier when this month is finally over.

Gonna be worried about things until then? It would be pretty crappy of them to hit us with something after the holiday has passed.

I don't trust them not to lull us into a false sense of security and then spring something on us once we've let our guard down.
